2024 Impact Highlights:
Thanks to your support, here’s what we accomplished last year:
Textile Waste Prevention:
44,828 pounds saved = 22.41 tons diverted from landfills!
Monthly average: 3,735 pounds = 1.87 tons.
Community Programs:
$6,044 Karma Bucks used.
3,164 pairs of socks distributed.
$1,313 Creative Reuse grants awarded.

Updated Hours at Uptown Threads
Our Uptown Threads location (127 W Church St.) is now open on Sundays from 12–5 PM!
New Store Hours:
Tuesday–Friday: 12–8 PM
Saturday: 10 AM–5 PM
Sunday: 12–5 PM
Stop by and find your next favorite item while shopping sustainability (we have free parking)!

Sort Textiles for Donation to Matthew 25 Ministries
🗓️Saturday, January 25th | 🕙 10 AM–12 PMHelp prepare 1.5 tons of clothing for donation, freeing up storage and reclaiming $900 worth of bins—saving us $400/month in 2025!
Stay for the full time or just drop in—every effort counts!
Loading Day for Matthew 25 Ministries
🗓️Wednesday, January 29th | 🕥 10:30 AMAssist with loading 11 gaylords of textiles for delivery. The materials are already boxed; we just need your help transferring and loading.
Let’s come together to support two great causes while reducing waste and creating community impact. 🌱
We’ll need lots of help to prepare this massive donation for Matthew 25 Ministries, if you have a group that would like to volunteer, we’d love to get you on the schedule! Email info@threadupoxford.org to get signed up for a date!
